Adjust distribution lists in Exchange Admin Center: admin.exchange.microsoft.com
Recipients > Groups > Distribution list.
Go to the Members tab in each group to add the user as a Member (NOT Owner).
Shared Mailboxes
Wait for AD to sync (approx. 30 minutes).
Adjust distribution lists in Exchange Admin Center: admin.exchange.microsoft.com
Recipients > Mailboxes
Go to the Delegation tab within each mailbox to add the user to the Read and manage (Full Access) section.

Log into outlook.office.com using your email address and password, and follow the prompts to set up MFA using the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Then go your initials in the top right corner -> View Account -> Password (along the left side), and change your password.

Password requirements:
  • At least 15 characters long
  • Cannot contain any part of your name
  • Cannot contain a season of the year (winter, spring, etc)
  • Do not repeat a password you already use
